After moving back into the area recently, we had been searching for a new vet after a not-great experience at our first choice vet. We did a lot of internet and word-of-mouth research and decided to give Mountain View Veterinary Clinic a try. All I can say is that I can't believe this isn't everyone's first choice - and I'm embarrassed it wasn't ours. The facility is excellent - from the park-like setting to the clean and well laid out rooms - it gives a welcoming feel and it's clear the staff takes a lot of pride in what they do. As far as the care goes, it's tough to give a review without resorting to flowery praise - but in this case it's totally warranted. From beginning to end, everyone we met and engaged with, from the receptionist to the vet tech to the doctor were thoughtful, patient, and highly competent. This was our dogs first visit (it certainly won't be the last) and they got down at dog-level and engaged with her attentively and responsively in every moment. Of course, we had a lot of questions and info (you don't always know how much or how little info is needed at a new patient visit) and everyone listened and responded like my dog was the only patient they had all day (of course she wasn't). She got lots of love and calm interaction and treats (our dog is very treat-motivated) and by the end of the exam I think the dog seriously had to think twice about staying or going back home with me. They were very informative about ongoing care and things to be aware of as our dog ages, and I came out of it feeling very knowledgeable and prepared. Then the shock of the bill came. It was RIDICULOUSLY reasonable. Like are-you-sure-you-remembered-to-charge-me-for-everything reasonable. We lived in the PNW for 20 years before moving to California for 10 and then moving back to Washington to buy our forever-home. The MVVC bill was like half of what you'd pay in CA, and less than we paid for similar service (though substandard level of care) at the first vet w

We've been clients of Mountain View Veterinary for many years now and had nothing but great experiences. They are extremely reasonably priced, responsive, and caring. When we had to euthanize our previous cat, they provided a soothing environment and were extraordinarily sensitive in providing this care. Highly recommend this vet and office.

I will always recommend this place to anyone who ever asks about good vet recommendations! They are so much more thorough than most vets and the cost always surprises me at the end (cheaper than i’m always expecting). they’ve helped me get down to the bottom of one of my dogs tummy issues and are now helping my get down to the bottom of our new doggies tummy issues. they’re never pushy on trying to convince us to do all the expensive tests all at once and always just tell us straight up what’s necessary for this moment and what the next steps should be after that. we love this vet so much (:

We recently brought our dog, who is skittish with strangers to this clinic, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The vet got down on her level, gently introduced himself, and helped her feel safe, while the staff encouraged us to help distract her and provided treats and a lick mat to keep her calm. Their patience and genuine care made it possible to complete an exam and four vaccinations in about 20 minutes without stress, and we left feeling that our dog was truly valued and cared for. It’s very apparent that the vets and all who work here truly care about what they do. Would recommend to anyone!

I very rarely leave reviews. This place is incredible. Recently moved to the area and needed a new vet for our dog. The care this place has is evident in everything they do. The meds to help with anxiety for visits, they always have time to listen to all your concerns, and they work with you so you understand the treatment. So lucky to have found this place for our baby. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and care for my silkie hen Betty. She had a sinus infection and was extremely sick. There aren't a lot of options for poultry so I am relieved to have a specialty vet nearby. The staff was friendly and compassionate. 5 ⭐️

The team at Mountain View Vet Clinic has always been wonderful with my birds and their maladies. We’ve had a lot of wins, but they are equally supportive, informative and candid with a loss. Highly recommend for feathered friends.

We are new to the area and brought our cat in for her 1st visit with Dr. Sargent. The kindness, calmness and caring that the doctor and staff showed Sweet Pea was heartwarming. She was so afraid and they treated her as if she was their own family. Their follow up was incredibly prompt and helpful. We are truly grateful and know we have definitely found a great clinic for her continued care. Thank you Dr. Sargent & Team!

I am so impressed with the thoroughness of the two doctors here. Dr. Sargent actually saved our dog's life in her last hours and she has regained total health again. Now she's a senior and their care for her is still incredible.

Dr Sargeant and his team take GREAT care of Willy! I LOVE that they LIVE Fear Free Vet Care. On 5/27/26 we brought in our newest Family member, Nala, to receive her vaccines and microchip. The team worked so well with "Nala" she didn't even whimper! We also learned about "Happy Visits" where we can drop in for a treat; not necessarily a treatment. LOVE IT!
